The Management Council of the CEA has passed a resolution to allow a membership facility for distributors of construction equipment. This comes as a result of discussions on how best to ensure that the Association is fully representative of the equipment supply chain in the UK. The CEA Management Council has approved another initiative to ensure the wider involvement of all members in the work of the Association. Two of the Council's meetings in 2012 will be extended to offer all members a chance to input into the policies and priorities of your organisation. The new Consultation Forums will be open to any subscribing member to have their say - and provide their ideas, questions and comments to help continue the growth of the CEA.

Distributors welcome to join

New members’ forums

CEA Chief Executive, Rob Oliver, explained, "Our President, Nick Ground, promised to encourage wider involvement from members when accepting the leadership of our Association earlier this year. The new Forums go some way towards fulfilling that pledge. It also makes the Management Council more accountable to the wider membership which is best practice for trade associations." The dates for the new Forums will be announced later this year.
