UKTI conference:

Delivery of the Olympic Park 28-29 November 2011, London

Institute of Export

Training

The Institute of Export's (IOE International Trade) mission is to enhance the export performance of the United Kingdom by setting and raising standards for

professionalism in international trade. This is achieved principally by the provision of education and training programmes. The IOE believes that real competitive advantage lies in competence and that commercial power, especially negotiating power, is underpinned by a sound basis of knowledge which can be gained through its extensive training and education programmes. Foundation degree

In addition to its established training and professional qualifications programme, the Institute has, in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University, created a new qualification, the first of its kind, which underpins current industry knowledge with academic theory and skills. The courses are taught through a mixture of online tutorials and work assignments, and have been specifically designed to be practical, flexible and fit easily around jobs.
