Tracked excavators

New Holland has introduced two new models, taking the C-Series, which was introduced earlier this year up to 4 models. Two More from New Holland Construction

New Holland has introduced two new models, taking the C-Series, which was introduced earlier this year up to 4 models.

Continuing the theme of the existing models, the 21 t E215C and 25 t E245C are designed to deliver performance with economic efficiency. The company claims up to 10% more productivity resulting from greater power and control as a result of using latest engine technology.

This is further enhanced by as much as 10% saving in fuel consumption partly as a result of the new engine but also increased by optimising hydraulics to take advantage of the power and controllability of the engine electronic management system.

As with other models in the series, the advances in engine and hydraulic technology have enable the company to extend service intervals to 500 hours, thereby increase machine uptime and lowering costs of ownership.

The two new models carry the EVO cab introduced on the previous models.

Power and control boost productivity up 10%

The E215C and E245C feature New Holland’s Selective Catalytic Control (SCR) technology. This technology optimises the combustion process for improved efficiency, allowing the 6-cylinder common rail engine to generate more power - an extra 15 hp compared to the B Series.

The hydraulic system has also been redesigned to increase significantly the machines’ hydraulic efficiency as a result of the additional power available from the engine.

New joysticks working with the optimised hydraulics give the operator smoother, more precise control. The Advanced Electronic Processor has been upgraded to provide highly responsive controls and deliver extra power when needed.

Low operating costs+ high fuel efficiency = more profitability

New Holland excavators have a reputation for industry leading fuel efficiency. In addition, a new ECO working mode that optimises fuel consumption while maintaining top performance, reducing fuel consumption by as much as 10% compared to the B Series.
