Latest Large Doosan Excavator Further Extends Range Upgrade - continued
Good visibility from the comfortable cab on the latest Doosan A new hydraulic system features a new electro-hydraulic control that minimises pressure loss through the main control valve. This utilizes engine power more effectively, maximizes pump usage and delivers more comfort, smoother operation and accuracy. The operating weight of the DX380LC-3 excavator has been increased by 3.5 % to 39.2 tonne and the counterweight has been increased by 300 kg to 7,400 kg. A new travel device increases drawbar pull by 15% to 36.9 tonne and produces a 15% increase in swing torque. Overall, the hydraulic system of the new generation excavator should provide improved performance and productivity. The heavy duty undercarriage is the same as that used in the larger >40 tonne class DX420LC model with reinforced track links, track springs and sprockets as well as a more robust boom and arm with reinforced bushings. These heavier duty components will obviously reduce wear and lower costs. The engine bonnet on the excavator is in four parts to improve serviceability and ease of opening. In common with current expectations, filters, valves and batteries are within easy reach for service work. With this latest addition, there is an expanded choice of options, including a new narrow (3 m) undercarriage and a new two-mode floating boom system. Increased operator comfort A new ROPS and OPG certified cab offers a more spacious space for the operator. A new 7-inch colour console offers an clear, easy-to-read display and functionality. All functions can be controlled both from the instrument panel as well as via the new jog/shuttle control next to the joystick - a feature currently exclusive to Doosan excavators. As a standard feature, the operator has access to a new attachment select and setting function, with multiple recordable preset values. An upgraded cab suspension system helps to cut vibration by 20% and reduces the noise in the cab to as low as 71 dB(A). Click here for more information >>> Doosan SX380LC-3 |
