one crusher run, at a rate of up to 500 tons per hour (TPH). The initial vibrating feed opening is 52 inches by 17 feet,
while the crusher feed opening is 56 by 32 inches.
The equipment’s closed-circuit design allows both decks of oversized material to return to the feeder for another
pass through the crusher after the initial round of screening. This allows for 20% greater production than many other
machines in the same class. The crusher is powered by a 440 horsepower Caterpillar C-13 ACERT Tier 3 engine. The RDS-
can also be supplied with a Tier 4 engine.
The RDS-20 is available with IROCK’s patented Hydraset Hopper. The hopper is designed to attach and remove the
hopper/feeder unit in one piece, with just one person, so it does not require the use of any outside lifting device. The
system operates from an internal power pack, which allows the unit to be easily detached and placed on a trailer in a
matter of minutes.
Earthmax – earthmoving technology ‘Made in India’
BKT, the first Indian company to manufacture all steel radial tyres for earthmoving equipment and industrial applications,
has introduced the Earthmax, a radial range particularly aiming at the OTR sector. This is one of the focus areas of BKT’s

The radial OTR tyres are manufactured at the Indian sites Waluj, Bhiwadi and Chopanki, which are all certified to the
standard for International Quality Management Systems (ISO:9001).
The range is designed to meet the needs of digging and earthmoving, loading and
transport operations under extreme circumstances.
The common features of the entire series are: the all steel structure contributing to
a better distribution of the loads on the ground; a major resistance of the casing made
of multi-layer steel belts for maximum sturdiness; the rigid non-directional blocks for
traction and manoeuvrability and a special compound mix, which is able to better
dissipate the heat that develops during use.
SR 30 tyres are suitable for equipping articulated dumpers and wheel loaders.
For the big articulated transport vehicles there is also the SR40 tyres, which feature
increased depth of the tread (class E4, i.e. 50% more than the standard) contributing to
a much longer productive tyre life.
Also class E4, but particularly appropriate for rigid dumpers, the SR 45 tyres present a
new lug pattern for maximum traction and manoeuvrability. A visual impact is shown by the
SR 50 tyres, classified L5 (i.e. with a 150% increase of the standard tread depth), suggested for
the usage on loaders and dozers.
