Contractors World International Vol 6 No 1

4. Kleemann

Kleemann will show its latest mobile cone crusher, the

Mobicone MCO 9 EVO, together with the Mobicat MC 110

Z EVO mobile jaw crusher. These were launched last year

putting in an appearance at the Hillhead exhibition in the

UK and Steinexpo in Germany.

Similar to other Kleemann crushers in the EVO line, the

MCO 9 has been developed especially for the needs of cus-

tomers in the contractor market. The drive concept with a

crusher direct drive, as well as electric drives for the con-

veyor belts, should deliver very efficient operation.

The 248 kW of the drive unit is optimally used due to

a performance-enhanced crusher housing design. A con-

tinuous drive power, at the crusher, of 160 kW is available.

Together with its large stroke, the cone crusher enables

crushing capacities of up to 260 t/h, A magnet and a metal

detector are also available as options, which

fur ther

increase the operational safety.

Weighing approximately 30 tons,

the MCO 9 EVO is very easy to trans-

port and is ready for operation

again quickly and simply in just a

few steps. The feeding unit can be

shifted by a simple slide mecha-

nism from the transport to the operation position.

MOBICAT MC 110 Z with effective

preliminary screening

The MC 110 Z features a double-deck grizzly, which not

only enhances the overall performance of the crusher, but

also the quality of the final product.

The raised crusher jaw helps minimise blockages in the

crusher area and should improve the material feed char-

acteristics. With the optional crusher unblocking system,

the crusher drive can also be reversed if required, meaning

blockages in the crushing jaw can be removed quickly and

simply.

Similar to the MCO 9, the drive concept with a crush-

er direct drive also provides very efficient consumption

values. In operation the mobile plant combination of the

two machines has been designed for productive and cost

efficiency.

5. Benninghoven

Very much the ‘new kid on the Wirtgen block’ but not new

to Intermat is Benninghoven, who will be premiering the

new BBX 1250 mobile mixing tower.

The complete asphalt batching plant is mounted on five

chassis that is designed for quick and easy installation as

well as rapid changes of location.

With a mixing capacity of 100 t/h, the plant is supplied

with the required aggregate fractions via four cold feed

hoppers with a convenient loading width of 3,600 mm.

The plant includes a 4-deck screen capable of separat-

ing 90 t of aggregate per hour into the four compartments

of the hot aggregate bin unit. Up to 20 t can be stored here

in total.

The digital, real-time, weighing and dosing technology

of this plant type supplies the 1.25 t mixer with the right

components exactly as required for the specified formula.

The complete bitumen supply is also mounted on a chassis.

In addition to the 40 m³ tank, the filling and dosing units

are also integrated in such a way as to ensure optimum ac-

cess while saving space.

The dust collection unit comprises a filter and exhaust-

er, it also includes a 15 m³ silo for reclaimed filler and a

25 m³ silo for imported filler.
