Intermat Preview No 2
Sennebogen At Intermat 2015
A 300 m² stand at Intermat will feature several new products from leading crane manufacturer, Sennebogen.
Two machines, the 6113 telescopic crawler crane and the new 640 HD duty cycle crawler crane, will be making their debut at the exhibition.
There will also be representative models from the company’s Green Line material handling machines.
The new Sennebogen 6113 is the largest model in the telescopic crawler crane range and was reviewed in Contractors World International Vol 5 No 5.
New Duty Cycle Crawler Crane
The new Sennebogen 640 HD to the current E-Series introduces a new size to fit between the smallest model, the 30 t 630 HD and the 55 t. 655 HD.
The 640 HD is particularly suitable in the areas of well digging, underground engineering, and mining as well as for use as a crane.
Due to a robust construction, a powerful multi-circuit hydraulic system, and the strong slewing drive, the 40 ton duty cycle crawler crane is particularly well-suited for special civil engineering work.
Applications requiring leaders or rope grapples can be realized with the same high level of reliability as that offered for operation of hydraulic casing oscillators in the areas of well digging or underground engineering.
It can be used with a 2.3 m³ drag buckets or for casing machines up to DN 2000. For lifting work, maximum boom length is 46.7 m (46 m maximum hook height) and maximum load is 40 t.
Power is from a Cat C-7 ACERT Tier IIIa diesel rated at 188 kW. Another option is the Cat C-7 ACERT Tier III rated at 205 kW. The base machine features 2 x 12 t free-fall winches, 12.5 t counterweight and crawler track fitted with 800 mm triple bar shoes.
The ‘maXcab’ is resiliently mounted with sliding door. The ergonomically designed cab with air-suspension seat provides excellent 360° visibility.
Material Handling Machines
The Green Line material handling machines are designed to cope with the tough demands in recycling, scrap handling, port handling, and many other special applications around the world.
The modular system enables the most appropriate machine to be designed, eliminating the need for compromise.
A number of undercarriage variants, from mobile to crawler gantry, and various equipment lengths and attachments ensure Green Line machine flexibility. The E-Series machines offer convincing performance thanks to modern fuel-saving Stage IV engines with optimal fuel efficiency and the highest level of operating comfort.
