K-Tec Earthmovers

Expands Product Range

K-Tec Earthmovers has recently introduced two new products - a

line of heavy-duty land leveller box scrapers and Pusher Blocks for

the construction, agriculture, and landscaping industries.

The land leveller has been designed for main-

taining haul roads, precision site levelling, and field

drainage. These heavy duty land levellers range in size

between 10  ft (3 m) and 28 ft (8.53 m) widths.

Various advancements are included as standard fea-

tures such as walking axle, single simplistic tilt, depth

level gauge, and LED light pack-

age. A unique moldboard curve

design enables superior rolling

of dirt.

The units are also com-

patible with dual GPS/laser for

precision grading work.

The models come in either

a Rigid frame, or a Flex hitch

design. The Flex models enable

the folding back of the hitchpole

for legal road transportation widths of under 8.5’ (2.6 m)

to transport the leveler between jobsites.

K-Tec’s CEO Russ Goossen states:

“We have been looking for an effective solution

to diversify our product offering. The K-Tec land

leveller is an exceptional complimentary piece

of equipment to our bulk earthmoving scrapers.

“The levellers are essential for maintaining

a proper haul road and completing the finish

work to grade. Our hope is for contractors to

find K-Tec as the premier, one-stop-shop in

earthmoving and land forming equipment.”

New Pusher Block Tractor Accessory

K-Tec Earthmovers has also released a new accessory

for 400+ HP (298+ kW) tractors involved

in earthmoving operations.

The Pusher Block system replaces

the front suitcase weights on the trac-

tor, offering more weight in the front of

the unit for a balanced weight

The tractor may then be able to

assist as a piece of support equipment

in the push-loading of another scraper;

while also pulling its own scraper, packer, or ripper discs.

The K-Tec Pusher Block enables the tractor to become

a more versatile and nimble piece of pushing equipment

than a crawler dozer.

According to K-Tec, comparing the tractor pusher

block to a dozer, the contractor is able to burn less fuel,

reduce undercarriage costs by a minimum of 50%, and

have higher speed mobility to reverse back to the start

of the cut in time to push the next scraper for loading.

The pusher-block comes with cushion-push technol-

ogy to reduce the strain on operators and structural
