Hyundai World Premiers to Boost Worldwide Sales

It is not many years since the Korean group Hyundai started out on distributing its range of construction plant and equipment to markets around the world. Their growth plans took a hit with the economic recession that impacted on every manufacturer. However, their latest financial figures indicate that they have recovered and are now forging new customers with some spectacular success.
At a presentation by the company at Bauma, it was said that sales to Europe have increased from 9% to 14% in the past 12 months. With similar success in North America.
The target is for an increase of 15% in the next year. This is an ambitious target strengthened by the large stand where there were, amongst the array of equipment, no fewer than 16 world premiers including seven hydraulic excavators, 4 wheel loaders and 4 forklift trucks.
HW140 and the HW210 Wheeled Excavators
The new HW range of wheeled excavators are engineered for both on-road and off-road mobility and to deliver performance and flexibility in a wide range of applications.
Both models are fitted with an eco-friendly, high-performance 6 cylinder Cummins QSB6.7 engine, which ensures both excellent fuel efficiency and high power.
The HW140 has an operating weight of 13,880 kg (30,600 1b) and is up to 15% more fuel efficient in truck loading and levelling in comparison to the 9-Series of machines. The HW210 has an operating weight of 21,200kg (46,740 1b) and boasts up to 20% more fuel efficiency in truck loading and levelling.
The HW Series three-stage power mode ensures the best performance in any operating environment from heavy load work to light load work.
The ECO Gauge feature enables consistent economic operation through constant info on the machine’s operating state. The ECO gauge level changes colour with the engine torque to improve the fuel efficiency level.
