Abu Dhabi

Haulotte Exhibits at Le Louvre

Museum

The new Louvre Museum in

Abu Dhabi museum is current-

ly more than 95 percent com-

plete and is expected to open

in December 2016 or January

2017.

The French architect Jean

Nouvel once again succeeded

in translating the history into

one of the greatest & dynamic

masterpieces of the 21st

century.

The importance of this pro-

ject lies in redrafting of the tra-

ditional elements of Arabic

architecture in a modern way

with advanced technologies

such as the vast steel dome -

an emblematic feature of

Arabian architecture, evoking

mosque, mausoleum and ma-

drasa - will create a “rain of

light” effect on the visitors

walking below.

It will cover two thirds of the museum, the al Falaj

inspired water system based on Arabian engineering is

an irrigation system form of a series of water channels

runs through the museum. This will make the space into

a refreshing oasis that encourages strolling along the

water, the architectural plan of the museum is similar

to the traditional Arabic Souks which will be

semi-covered by the dome and the interior will be illu-

minated by an enchanting, reminiscent of Mashrabiya

and the beams of light that illuminate souks. The design

is a seamless collaboration between traditional local

culture and modern construction techniques.

A significant number of Haulotte products supplied

by UGER has been used in Le Louvre Museum. Most of

them are the diesel Articulated & Telescopic

Big Booms.

A key model is the newly upgraded

Haulotte HA41RTJ Pro which has a maximum

outreach of 19.80 m and has the best lifting

speed in the market with less than 40

seconds.

It features an ergonomic and spacious de-

signed platform, as well as fully proportional,

simultaneous controls for more accuracy and

smoothness of movement. This allows an op-

timal performance while the machine is work-

ing in the installation of the stars of the com-

plex geometric pattern of the dome.

The H25TPX was ideal for reaching the

most difficult working areas and increase time

efficiency and productivity.
