Komatsu introduces

D37EX/PX-24 Dozer

Komatsu Europe announces the introduction of the

D37EX/PX-24 dozer to the European market. An all-round

compact performer built on the widely recognised ben-

efits of its predecessor for any grading or earthmoving

application.

The smallest model in the Komatsu dozer

range, the D37EX/PX-24 features a Komatsu

EU Stage IV engine with, according to

Komatsu, class-leading power and unri-

valled fuel efficiency, along with improved

comfort and an automatic idling engine shut down

system.

William Groven, product manager at Komatsu Europe

says:

“The D37EX/PX-24 is a compact, versatile and

powerful dozer that is easily transported

between different job sites. Residential and

commercial developments, road works, land

clearing or forestry, the D37EX/PX-24 with its

hydrostatic drive is ideal for your light to medium

dozing and grading applications.”

Available in either long track-on-ground (EX) or low

ground pressure (PX) configuration, the crawler dozer

offers flotation and weight distribution options to cus-

tomers, tailored to their applications.

The new Komatsu dozer features a powerful and ef-

ficient 3.26 litre, 66,1 kW (89 HP), SAA4D95LE-7 EU

Stage IV emissions-certified engine with a “Heavy-duty”

aftertreatment system. A Selective Catalytic Reduction

(SCR) system is now added to the Komatsu Diesel

Oxidation Catalyst (KDOC), which requires only passive

regeneration - with no fuel wasted to clean the exhaust

filter.

Wear life of Komatsu’s high quality components was

further increased, and a new triple labyrinth seal now

protects the final drive from dirt and damage.

The new high-comfort cab has an air suspension high

back seat, adjustable and heated. Possibilities for fleet

management are expanded thanks to an upgraded

high-resolution TFTLCD machine monitor, with ECO/

POWER mode selection and operator identification.

The latest KOMTRAX telematics, and the Komatsu

Care complimentary maintenance program, offer top

fleet management and support, protect the machine

against misuse and guarantee maximum efficiency and

uptime.

John Deere Cold Planer Attachment

The latest addition to the John Deere Worksite Pro at-

tachment line-up,

the D-Series cold planers

, transform

a skid steer, compact track loader (CTL) or compact

wheel loader into an efficient milling machine.

These attachments are ideal for customers perform-

ing street repairs, matching uneven pavement surfaces,

cutting drainage in parking lots and cleaning up around

larger milling machines.

The four new D-Series models (CP12D, CP18D, CP24D

and CP30D) offer

increased perfor-

mance and pro-

ductivity, deliver-

ing up to 10

percent more cut

rate over their

C - S e r i e s

predecessors.

The exclusive

angled soil-guard

design prevents

the wheels from riding up and over millings. Significantly

reduced rolling resistance also increases cutting force.

Increased weight on the new models helps keep the

planer in place and reduces bounce, for a smoother cut,

while the planing-drummounting enables closer planing

near curbing. The tilt can be adjusted independently to

allow planing on both the left and right sides of the

machine.

Uptime boosting features include protective shields

for electrical and hydraulic components, solid hard-

ened-steel wheels and cylinders that are positioned up

and out of the way of obstructions and debris.

With the universal, self-cleaning Quik-Tatch easy at-

tachment system found on all John Deere skid steers,

CTLs and compact excavators, the machine can easily

add and remove the cold planer in no time.
