What's New In Plant & Equipment

2 From
Komatsu

Komatsu Europe launches two new tracked excavators - the PC230NHD-11 offering up to 28% higher lifting performance and the PC210NLC-11.

The PC210NLC-11 (pictured above) also offers up to 28% higher lifting performance and further improves on the stability and power of the previous NLC model, with a net 123 kW (165 HP) @ 2.000 rpm and operating weights between 22.400 kg and 23.030 kg.

These new narrow excavator, with a heavy duty undercarriage, do so much more than simply meet EU Stage IV emission regulations

states Paul Dickinson, Product Manager at Komatsu

Europe International.

They offers significant advances in fuel consumption, provides 3G communications, increases operator comfort and includes new safety features along with improved performance in lifting, grading and truck loading as well as high ground clearance whilst keeping the narrow width for transport.

Both models feature a Stage IV engine that integrates Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) with a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), to further reduce NOx emissions using the AdBlue additive

Highly efficient hydraulic system

Enhancements have been made to the hydraulic system for reduced hydraulic loss and better efficiency. All major components on the new excavators, including the engine, hydraulic pumps, motors and valves are exclusively designed and produced by Komatsu.

This integrated design uses a closed centre load sensing hydraulic system that takes hydraulic efficiency to the next level using variable speed matching. This technology allows the engine speed to adjust based on the hydraulic pump output for both light and heavy-duty applications.
