Many important events for the Italian company, CONTROLS GROUP, occured in 2015, but the biggest is surely their change of headquarters after 30 years at the historic base at Cernusco sul Naviglio, which can no longer meet the growing productive needs of the company.
The new plant is located in Liscate, a small town in a logistically strategic position, just 17 km from the centre of Milan and at the intersection of two major new motorway networks.
The new site has an internal surface of more than 8,000 m2 and an overall surface area of 22,000 m2, twice the size of the previous base.
In addition to enjoying more space for Research & Development, production, logistics and goods handling, the new headquarters has a large area dedicated to services for visitors from all over the world; an extensive showroom for the presentation of products, training courses and meetings.
The recent Open Day for employees and their families saw the inauguration of a large-scale work by the artist Giuliano Melioli, which is now displayed in the spacious entrance hall. “Esplosione di Supernova” illustrates the significance that evolution plays in every aspect of human history (science, art, scientific research, etc.).
The new CONTROLS GROUP headquarters is at heart an element of the evolutionary process the company has experienced in its almost 50 years of existence.
