A strong national infrastructure plan was one of the key initiatives put forward in President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address this week. The PCA has responded to this by saying that it has long supported a nationwide plan to reconstruct the nation’s crumbling roads and bridges, which are critical to the nation’s economy and security.

The Association strongly believes that to achieve a sound investment of taxpayer dollars, legislation authorizing infrastructure construction and reconstruction using durable and resilient materials should be passed.
