Positive Construction Machinery Market in India

India is currently the only national market in Asia experiencing growing construction machinery sales. And growth is forecast for the next few years as well: Good leading indicators for BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA, which will be held from December 12 to 15, 2016 at the HUDA Ground in Gurgaon/Delhi.

According to the Construction Equipment and Building Material Machinery Association within the Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau (VDMA—German Engineering Federation), India is currently the only Asian country able to point to a growing construction machinery market. bauma Africa 2013: Platform for many key players

Already, around a year before the first bauma Africa (September 18-21, 2013) gets under way at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Midrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, it is clear that the originally planned 20,000 square meters of exhibition space will have to be extended. One reason for this is the sheer number of registrations received so far from key players.

Gary Bell, Chief Executive at Bell Equipment, sees bauma Africa as a real opportunity for his company.

“An international exhibition of this stature in sub-Saharan Africa has been long awaited and we at Bell Equipment look forward to supporting an event which will have positive spin-offs for the region, the construction industry and our customers.”

Bauma 2013 full booked!

Already – eleven months before bauma 2013 opens – all space at the show is fully booked. This International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment has a waiting list for all sections of the exhibition. And this is despite the fact that the exhibition space allocated to the event has been extended to a record 570,000 square meters.

For this event, the biggest trade show in the world – taking place in Munich from April 15 to 21, 2013 – a further 15,000 square meters of space has been made available in the north-west corner of the exhibition site. Georg Moller, Exhibition Group Director at Messe München International:

Consequently, Indonesia has been chosen as the partner country for the next edition of bauma, the world’s largest trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment, which takes place from April 15 to 21, 2013 in Munich.

The aim is to leverage Indonesia’s significant business potential for the international construction machinery, building materials machinery and mining machinery industry. A co-initiator of the partner country concept of bauma, along with Messe München, is the German Engineering Federation, VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau). The concept was first implemented in 2001, and each time it offers the chosen country many benefits
