Positive Construction Machinery Market in India

India is currently the only national market in Asia experiencing growing construction machinery sales. And growth is forecast for the next few years as well: Good leading indicators for BAUMA CONEXPO INDIA, which will be held from December 12 to 15, 2016 at the HUDA Ground in Gurgaon/Delhi.

According to the Construction Equipment and Building Material Machinery Association within the Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau (VDMA—German Engineering Federation), India is currently the only Asian country able to point to a growing construction machinery market. Infrastructure development is commonly held to be the driving force behind this development. The Indian government and international development banks are making billions available for new roads, bridges, sea and airports, as well as railway and energy projects.

India: Bhoir group expands its fleet with six LR 1300 SX Liebherr crawler cranes

Crane rental company, Bhoir Group, headquartered in Mumbai, India, has placed an order of six new LR 1300 SX and three units of derrick equipment.

The LR 1300 SX crawler crane is a 300 t class machine manufactured at Liebherr-Werk Nenzing, Austria. The crane has a strong main boom and hence has an excellent load chart especially with the main boom and luffing jib combinations. The crane can be fitted with a maximum of 92 m of main boom and a luffing jib of maximum 113 m with various boom combinations and can reach a maximum height of 169 m (56 m main boom and 113 m luffing jib), which is remarkable in its class. With derrick the combination of main boom and luffing jib reaches a staggering height of 196 m (83 m main boom plus 113 m luffing jib plus derrick).

JCB India Ltd. sets a production landmark by rolling out its 100,000th JCB ecoMAX engine in its fifth year of production.


The company started manufacturing its own range of engines in India in 2011 and today, JCB ecoMAX engines are regarded as the most fuel efficient, reliable and productive engines available in the Indian market.

Terex Washing Systems Expands Team in Indai and USA

Terex Washing Systems (TWS) has expanded its team by appointing two new sales managers, Amol Sinha in India (pictured), and James Bulebush in the U.S. Responding to business growth and increased customer demand in these two countries, TWS hired these team members as dedicated contacts to provide customers and distributors with washing expertise, project management, technical and service support locally in India and USA. Amol Sinha is based at the Terex facility in Hosur, India, and James Bulebush is located at the Terex facility in Louisville, KY, USA.

Next BAUMA CONEXPO SHOW – bC India February 5-8, 2013

The next BAUMA CONEXPO SHOW – bC India will be held February 5-8, 2013. The second edition of the International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines and Construction Vehicles will take place at the MMRDA Grounds in the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai. The space allocated for the exhibition in 2013 has increased to 130,000 square meters, from 88,000 square meters in 2011, to accommodate the growing demand. The first event attracted  24,823 visitors from 71 countries and hosted nine national pavilions from Australia, China, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Spain and the United Kingdom
